SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses an authentication method and a corresponding system. In the present invention, biometric data relating to a user are used to encode and decode an associated identifier. Thus, biometric data of the user become a key for encoding and subsequent decoding of the identifier. In one version of the present invention, biometric data are used to form a keyboard configuration. Keyboard configuration determines the order and/or positions of the plurality of keyboard keys. Then using such configuration, forming active keyboard and/or keyboard image. That is, user biometric data can be used to form a personalized keyboard and/or keyboard image, which can then be used to encode or decode an identifier associated with a user. Keyboard or image, formed based on biometric data, can be used to generate a relation of correspondence between different keyboard configurations. Biometric data can be captured in or on an electronic device associated with a user, e.g. a computer, a mobile telephone, a tablet computer, etc.
EFFECT: invention is especially suitable for authenticating a person before allowing access to a monitored resource; such resource may be a financial resource, however, this is not mandatory.
