FIELD: manufacturing technology; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reinforcing cord breaker layer, which forms reinforcing breaker layer arranged between protector and breaker package in vehicle tires. Reinforcing cord breaker layer is formed by spiral winding in form of strip containing at least two cords, so that it makes angle from 0 to 5° with equatorial plane on breaker package. Cord reinforcement layer of breaker layer is formed by twisting together two threads from aliphatic polyamide. One of the polyamide threads has a linear density of 1300–1500 decitex, and the other one — 850–1000 decitex. Difference between levels of preliminary twisting of polyamide threads is maximum 20 %.
EFFECT: longer service life of the tire and reduced fuel consumption.
