FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polyamide cords of 6.6 with a high modulus value used as reinforcement in pneumatic tires and rubber articles. Impregnated and heat-resistant cord of polyamide 6.6 is made from initial threads of their polyamide 6.6, having tensile stress at 4 % elongation exceeding 1.30 cN/decitex. Stress at 4 % fold elongation is 1.2–2.0 cN/decitex. Cord heat shrinkage at 177 °C under pre-tension 0.045 g/decitex and at holding time 2 min makes 4–7 %.
EFFECT: improved fatigue resistance of cords.
