SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of a fluid extracted from a well, preferably a hydrocarbon well. Disclosed is method of treatment of fluid extracted from well, wherein produced fluid medium is high pressure fluid medium, wherein the method comprises: reducing the pressure of the fluid medium to a reduced pressure such that a gas phase and a liquid phase are formed; separation of gas phase from liquid phase, thus forming gas product and liquid product; and storage of liquid product in storage container under such pressure that liquid product remains in stable liquid phase during storage, wherein reduced pressure is more than atmospheric pressure; wherein the pressure of the liquid product is maintained substantially equal to or greater than the reduced pressure at the step (s) of separation and/or storage. Also disclosed is a system for treatment of fluid extracted from a well.
