FIELD: test.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a test device and a method for testing dust suppression systems. Test device for testing dust suppression systems, which are objects having characteristic surfaces, objects having coatings, objects treated in a special way, or surfaces of fluid media, wherein said surfaces, coatings or special processing methods retain maximum possible amount of dust which has come into contact with said objects and things, said testing device includes a housing with two chambers, separated from each other by an opening, which includes at least one bypass opening, wherein the particle counters are detachably connected to at least one of the two chambers, and wherein the first chamber of said at least two chambers includes a door and is equipped with feeding means for feeding air free from particles into the first chamber, and the second chamber of said at least two chambers is equipped with outlet means for discharging air from the second chamber, wherein the first chamber is configured to accommodate a dust-containing object, an object or fluid.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the creation of a test device, which enables to simulate various conditions of real ambient media and improved method of testing dust suppression systems.
