FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, in particular, to blocking compositions, which make it possible to isolate and disconnect zones of absorption of process liquids during drilling and well fixation in intervals of intensive movement of formation water. Composition contains a reagent dispersed in a dispersion medium containing 35–75 wt% of diatomite earth, 20–60 wt% of ground cellulose fibrous material, 2–15 wt% of chopped fiber with fiber length in range of 2 mm to 18 mm.
EFFECT: high degree of insulating properties of the disclosed composition when isolating absorption intervals of borehole fluids in porous, cavernous, fractured rocks.
