METHOD OF LINEAR SIGNAL AMPLIFICATION BY POWER AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC H03F1/32

Abstract RU 2721935 C1

FIELD: radio engineering; electronics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electro-radio engineering and specifically to methods and apparatus for amplifying electric and radio signals in a wide frequency range. In the known method for linear amplification of a power signal based on digital-analog conversion of an input signal, modulation thereof of a high-frequency signal, amplification, amplification branching and demodulation, demodulated analogue-to-digital conversion, according to the invention, before digital-to-analog conversion of the input signal, its spectrum and spectrum of the digital demodulated signal are generated, determining their difference, inverting the difference of spectra and mixing with the spectrum of the input signal. Device for power amplification with compensation of nonlinear distortions from known is characterized by that additionally introduced in series connected demultiplexed signal spectrum generator, unit of spectra subtraction, inverse spectrum generator, unit of spectra addition, signal generating unit, the output of which is connected to the second input of the digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), as well as the input signal spectrum generator, the input of which is the input of the device, the first output is connected to the first input of the DAC, and the second output is connected to the combined inputs of the addition unit and the unit subtraction of spectra.

EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of linearization of transmission characteristic of power amplifier by detecting side harmonics arising from nonlinearity of amplifier, inverting and adding to input signal before amplification, which corresponds to the input signal pre-emphasis and its further linear amplification.
