FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to construction. Fire-resistant geopolymer coating which does not contain portland cement, suitable for application by spraying or spreading and having a given equilibrium density, selected from a group consisting of densities of about 240, 400, 641 and 801 kilograms per cubic meter, as well as compression strength in the range of approximately 1.4–20.7 MPa, contains: 15–50 wt. % of at least one light filler having bulk density less than 1.0 and diameter from about 0.025 mm to about 12.5 mm, wherein in the case of the sprayed coating, said at least one light aggregate contains at least two aggregates; 5–60 wt. % of at least one alkali-activated binder; 2–15 wt. % of at least one activator for said alkali-activated binder, other than liquid alkali metal hydroxide; 1–15 wt. % of at least one setting retarder; 0.01–5 wt. % of at least one material selected from protein or synthetic protein material; 0.01–5 wt. % of at least one alkali-resistant fibre; 0.01–2 wt. % of magnesium oxide in an amount sufficient to control shrinkage of said mixture during solidification; water.
EFFECT: technical result is higher heat resistance, compression strength, adhesion strength and protection against corrosion on steel components.
