FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil processing and petrochemistry, in particular, to vacuum gasoil processing. It can be used in oil refining industry to produce gasoline and diesel fractions with low sulfur content without significant losses due to gas and coke formation. Vacuum gasoil processing method involves preliminary oxidation of gas oil with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and formic acid in molar ratio H2O2:HCOOH = 3:4, So:H2O2 = 1:5 and subsequent cracking in a reactor-autoclave, characterized by, that oxidised product is divided into polar and nonpolar components, cracking of which is carried out separately with different duration of the process at temperature of 450–500 °C.
EFFECT: obtaining a product characterized by high content of distillate fractions (about 70 wt%) with simultaneous low gas- and coke formation; wherein polyaromatic compounds of sulfur due to preliminary oxidative modification are destroyed with formation of less heat-resistant thiophene derivatives.
