SUBSTANCE: invention relates to integration of steel structure and insulation of walls, in particular to design and method of connection of composite insulating external wall panel and steel post-and-beam structure. Invention discloses a structure for connection of composite insulating outer wall panel and steel post-and-beam structure; steel bearing beam and steel bearing column respectively include body of steel structure; filling insulating layer is located in steel structure body gap; connecting unit of composite insulating panel envelopes connection between steel bearing beam and steel bearing column; connecting unit of composite insulating panel is connected to horizontal assembly of composite insulating panel by means of staggered joint in horizontal direction; connecting unit of composite insulating panel is connected to vertical assembly of composite insulating panel by means of staggered joint in vertical direction; horizontal assembly of composite insulating panel and vertical assembly of composite insulating panel are connected to composite insulating external wall panel by means of staggered joint to form single panel without continuous seam.
EFFECT: according to the present invention, the inner and outer sides of the body of the steel structure are connected to the insulating panel to provide a flexible connection and prevent formation of cracks in the joint; in order to avoid use of continuous seam and to improve insulating effect, composite insulating wall plates are connected by means of a staggered joint.
