SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sports for improvement of individual skill of a sportsman, while engaging in such sports as football, handball, basketball, track and field athletics, for example, long jump, and other sports, as well as during assembly and disassembly of various parts and units for bringing work assembler to automatism. Technical task is solved by a method of training an athlete, including a training process with visual tracking of the ball. Novelty is that a trained athlete wears a vest with the possibility of limiting the vision below the eye level of the trained athlete, wherein inside the ball used there is a sound device, for example, bell, sleigh bell, and so forth. Required technical task in part of vest to implement method is achieved by vest, comprising left and right front shelves with detachable fastener and back, made of outer and inner layers of fabric, connected to each other in shoulder and side seams, between external and internal layers of fabric there is an additional layer fixed in shoulder and side seams. Novelty is that in upper part to front shelves and back is attached elongated collar neck in form of truncated circular cone and having detachable fastener, and in the holes there are belts fixed on one side on the inner layer of the back fabric or the elongated neck-collar, and on the other side through the adjustable detachable fasteners - on the outer layer of fabric of the front shelves.

EFFECT: technical task of present invention is to improve efficiency of athletes training and functional capabilities; helps to improve peripheral vision; preparation of sportsmen of game kinds of sports, capable to perform all actions: reception, processing, conducting, transfer, blow or throw, without looking at the ball, and finally to increase technique of the sportsman with the ball, sportsman's class, quality and entertainment of the game.
