SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmosurgery. For the treatment of degenerative lamellar macular rupture (LMR) of the I and II stages, a segment with the weakest adhesion of the internal limiting membrane (ILM) is determined in the upper temporal region at a distance of approximately 1 mm from the rupture edge and at this point first plaque exposure to ILM is performed, then rectangular flap of ILM with width of 0.4 mm is formed, not reaching the rupture edge of 0.6 mm, and a gap is covered with a flap. Similar manipulations are performed in nasal, upper and lower segments. After the rupture is covered with the four ILM flaps for their more delicate and reliable fixing, the flaps edges are tucked.

EFFECT: method provides reducing intraoperative injuries, closing the ruptures without risk of the rupture passage into the through macular rupture, preserving visual functions, reducing the risk of complications, improving the surgeon's convenience.
