FIELD: hydro acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustics, technical acoustics and can be used to construct hydroacoustic systems for detecting noisy targets with onboard (or other) antennae with substantially non-identical spatial channel directional characteristics and / or in an anisotropic interference field. Feature of the disclosed detection method is that thresholds required for making a decision on detection of a signal are generated at each processing cycle in each viewing channel, for which the minorant analogue is evaluated for pre-modifier signal-to-noise signal processes, from which the average and root-mean-square deviation of the noise is estimated.
EFFECT: high reliability of automatic detection of signals in detection systems with on-board antenna arrays on a set of formed spatial channels, characteristics of which are not identical, but close, without separate measurement of interference, which enables to operate in real time and without complicating equipment, including in an anisotropic interference field.
