FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing equipment, namely to safety during testing of on-board radar equipment for drones using semi-real-time simulation. Method consists in fact, that test object is installed on the basis for placement of test object, experimental mode is selected, conditions of operation of test object are simulated by means of simulator of targets and base for arrangement of test object, during simulation of operating conditions of test object, protective shield of test bench is opened, when it is necessary, data is obtained by means of test object. Test bench comprises a signal simulator and a base for placing a test object located on the platform above the floor level, a protective guard of the bench having at least two positions - open and closed, in the closed position completely enveloping the free perimeter of the platform.

EFFECT: technical result is higher safety of maintenance personnel with preservation of reliability of semi-real-time simulation.
