METHOD OF CREATING MUSCULAR MEMORY IN CHILDREN WITH MOTOR FUNCTIONS DISORDERS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61H1/00

Abstract RU 2723224 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, physiotherapy exercises, in particular to rehabilitation exercises, specifically to stimulate motor development of a child with consequences of perinatal involvement of the central nervous system. Initial state of motor functions is determined using their levels. For transition from one level to another, five blocks of rehabilitation exercises are used. Child performs a chain of interrelated successive integral coordination movements from simple to more complex, taking into account the child's developmental physiology and motor skills. That is ensured by exercises from the initial unit and partially from the unit following it. Ratio of the number of exercises from two consecutive blocks shifts towards the one following the initial unit. During rehabilitation exercises in the fourth block additional obstacles are used, in the fifth block additional obstacles and objects are used. Course of rehabilitation exercises is performed for five consecutive days; the length of course is 20 to 40 sessions with breaks of 2–8 weeks.

EFFECT: method provides creating motor skills and training coordinated movements for developing muscular memory and transforming its responses into targeted independent arbitrary motions to improve quality of life.
