SUBSTANCE: invention relates to Internet technologies and particularly to a method and system for sharing video. Disclosed is a method and system for realizing sharing video related to Internet technologies. Method comprises steps of: receiving a user access request to a video sharing link; parsing a link to share a video to obtain a video address and an identifier of the shared object; reproducing video in accordance with a video address and displaying a shared object corresponding to the identifier of the shared object, in video display interface; proceeding to a link to a product of the shared object in response to the user selection of the shared object. Invention implements new method of sharing objects of products in social media by means of joint use of video. In addition, a video sharing user adds a link to a shared object in video for sharing in social media. User viewing the video can see the product display without pause. Transition from the video image page to the product-related page can be carried out by displaying the product.
EFFECT: technical result is improved effect of content sharing and user interaction algorithm.
