SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an absorbent article in which a perforated coating non-woven material is used as a coating non-woven material covering at least a portion of the back surface of a sheet which is not permeable to liquids. In order to solve said problem, absorbing component 56, sheet 11, a liquid-impermeable sheet covering the side of the rear surface of absorbent component 56 and having air permeability, and covering nonwoven material 20, covering side of rear surface of sheet 11, not permeable for liquids. Coating nonwoven material 20 has a large number of holes passing through the front surface and the back surface with intervals at least in the area covering sheet 11, which is not permeable for liquids. Edge parts 14e of holes 14 are bent upwards towards the front surface side. In the area having holes 14, in coating nonwoven material 20 rows of holes 14, which are aligned in the forward-backward direction at 14y intervals in the forward-backward direction, narrower than size 14L of each of holes 14 in the forward-backward direction, are formed with repetition at predetermined intervals in the WD width direction, and interval 14x between two holes 14 adjacent in direction of width, wider than size 14L of hole 14 in direction of forward-backward.
EFFECT: object of the invention consists in improvement of both air permeability, and softness/dimensionality of external non-woven material.
