FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: problem consists in ensuring both adjacency of the absorbent element in the perineal portion, and ability of the absorbent component to maintain its shape. Said problem is solved by means of a disposable diaper comprising absorbent element 50, which is provided in a zone extending in a forward-backward direction LD and including a crotch portion M, and includes absorbent component 56 and wrapping sheet 58, wrapping absorbent component 56, wherein absorbent component 56 is formed by accumulation of a mixture of cellulose fibres and superabsorbent polymer particles, in crotch portion M absorbent component 56 has elongated sections 56L with low surface density, extending in the forward-backward LD direction on both sides of absorbent component 56 defined in the width direction WD, compressed portions 51 that are compressed in the thickness direction such that they are depressed from the surface into the absorbent component, are continuous in grid-shape configurations provided at least along the entire length of the SR zones that are lateral relative to the low surface density portions 56L in absorbent element 50, and wrapping sheet 58 is formed from a non-woven material, having bending resistance in forward-backward direction LD of 0.01–0.10 mN⋅cm, and bending resistance in direction of WD width of 0.01–0.10 mN⋅cm.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities.
