FIELD: soil or rock drilling; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to well drilling equipment, namely to downhole motors gearboxes. Reduction gear of downhole motor includes housing, driving and driven shafts with central channel, support units of shafts, reducing unit, piston compensator, end glands and adapters. Said case has outer lengthwise grooves accommodating conductive strands and is surrounded by composite protective casing formed by shell and plates respectively in upper and lower parts of casing. Adapters have axial orifices through which ends of conductive strands are brought out.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the reduction gear in the electric drill and improved quality of well drilling.
