FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary controlled systems (RCS) with electric drive to control bit rotation during drilling of directed wells. Electrically-driven RCS consists of: a drilling bit, which is screwed on a shaft of a near-bit diverter, shaft of which is connected by spline connection to shafts of planetary oil-filled reduction gear and three-phase adjustable gate electric motor (AGEM). AGEM has its own two-stage hydraulic protection. Necessary voltage to electric motor is supplied by current lead, which is two conductors of power cable arranged rigidly between wall of drilling and from artificial material of manufactured internal pipe. In the nipple and sleeve ends of the internal pipe there are two spring-loaded contact rings. As the third core of the cable, the steel drilling pipe body is used in this system. Current lead to electric motor simultaneously serves for high-speed transmission of well parameters and control commands from wellhead to downhole equipment, and is also a power supply source of all geophysical and control devices arranged in downhole equipment. Change of trajectory of the shaft of the near-bit diverter is ensured by built-in two controlled electric motors or one electric motor with two hydraulic trunnions.
EFFECT: use of two power sources (electric and hydraulic) reduces load on drilling system and enables to use different types of drilling mud or face blowing with air (gas); and continuous control of bit rotation speed and torque depending on hardness of the drilling rock is also significant advantage of this system.
