FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making in the field of measurement equipment and is used for measurement of low gas flow rates. Principle of action of film-bubble flowmeter consists in measurement of film passing time of surface-active substance (SAS) of certain volume of calibrated tube. Film-bubble flow meter includes tight cylindrical chamber with gas-supply nozzle, partially filled with surfactant, vertical calibrated glass tube, and bubble generator arranged concentrically under open end of tube with possibility of vertical movement by means of reciprocating drive, as well as sensors for receiving input pulses. According to the invention, three wire electrodes are placed inside the glass tube remotely relative to each other, two of which have equal length, and third is shorter by fixed size from first two, wherein for supply of surfactant to open end of tube and then to electrodes generator ring is equipped with magnetic coupling with outer ring, movably located on chamber wall and connected to drive of vertical movement.
EFFECT: achieving high accuracy of measuring gas flow rate, simplifying the design and improving its reliability.
