FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to rocket science, namely, to launch solid-propellant boosters of carrier rocket. Starting solid-propellant accelerator consists of sections of channel charges with housings of cocoon type and rotary nozzle. Feature of design is that sections of charges with housings are telescopically arranged in canister, movable connection at extension of charge bodies in case is made in form of support-driving belts, upper skirt of lower section of housing is rigidly attached to metal ring of case, and skirts of remaining sections of charges are fixed to corresponding rings by adjustable screws, axis of rotary nozzle is deviated from accelerator axis and passes through centre of mass of carrier rocket, to lower end of case is docked tail compartment, to upper end of case is docked head fairing, in cavities of tail compartment and head cowl are engines of accelerator escape from carrier rocket and starting engine for ignition of solid fuel charges. Accelerator design predetermines special approach to its assembly. Method of assembly of proposed starting solid-propellant booster is based on joining between sections of channel charges with bodies with elements of case which is carried out in suspended on cross arm state, and nozzle attachment to flange of back part of lower section housing in certain sequence, docking of nose fairing.
EFFECT: disclosed design of launch solid propellant rocket carrier booster provides higher ballistic efficiency and reliability of its operation.
