FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to aerospace engineering, particularly, to ground-based launching complexes. To prepare a solid-propellant space rocket, a transportation rocket module is formed, the latter comprises transport-launching container in transport version without nose cover, front compartment and bottom, closed with transport covers and rocket in transport version without adapter and nose cone. Transport rocket module is delivered in an insulated railway car to the spaceport, and an additional car is used to deliver a nose cone, an adapter, a front compartment, a nose cover and a bottom part. Module is reloaded from isothermal car to transfer-handling machine, which delivers module to technical complex of missile. Module is reloaded onto the launcher, the space rocket is assembled by assembling the rocket in the transport version with the head unit. Then, transport-launching container with front compartment, nose cover and bottom part is assembled. Electrical checks of the missile and launcher systems are carried out using ground control and launching equipment, which is installed in the launch preparation machine. Horizontal assembly of the head unit is carried out on the technical complex of the spacecraft using assembly-docking trolleys.
EFFECT: possibility of horizontal assembly of head unit is achieved, time of assembly operations is reduced and operational characteristics are improved.
