Abstract RU 2724199 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, particularly to a perforated ureteral catheter, and can be used in urology in upper urinary tract drainage. Perforated ureteral catheter comprises tube of flexible plastic with length of 710 mm with spherical end on end face and is equipped with rigid wire mandrin, with limiter at its proximal end. Catheter has five drainage holes arranged staggered in two planes at distance of 1 cm from each other, with a drainage surface of 5 cm. Catheter is additionally equipped with a sixth drainage hole made on its end spherical end. Hole on end spherical end is made with diameter from 0.45 to 1.14 mm. Length of mandrin with limiter at its proximal end is shorter than length of catheter by 2–3 mm.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to improve drainage properties, reduce traumatism of the procedure for insertion and replacement of the catheter and reduce the length of the patient's stay in the hospital.
