FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power systems based on direct conversion of thermal energy to electric power and can be used, in particular, for power supply of lunar base. Proposed plant comprises two closed circuits of liquid metal heat carrier (LMHC). Hot LMHC circuit includes at least one solar collector connected by LMHC pipelines with in-series installed heat exchanger of hot junction of thermoelectric converter (TEC) and circulating pump. Heat removal circuit includes cold junction heat exchanger TEC connected by LMHC pipelines with cooler-radiator and circulating pump. Electrical outputs of TEC are connected to accumulators and power consumers.
EFFECT: stable power supply of equipment and personnel in extreme conditions of external environment, in particular, on lunar base.
