FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gravitational field gradient measurement devices. Gradient meter comprises cylindrical sealed housing (1), electronic unit and information pickup circuit. Housing (1) is fixed on rotary device (7), axis (6) of rotation of which is orthogonal to axis (O, O’) of housing (1). Inside housing (1) there are two identical accelerometers. Mechanoelectric conversion elements of accelerometers are made with possibility of displacement along axis (O, O’) of housing (1). Axes of sensitivity of the accelerometers are oriented along the axis (O, O’) of housing (1). At that, mechanoelectric conversion elements of accelerometers are made in the form of piezoelectric elements (2, 2’) installed with inertial masses (3, 3') at ends of cylindrical housing (1) in a single module forming a differential accelerometer. Differential accelerometer is connected via output circuit to electronic unit. Piezoelectric elements (2, 2’) are mechanically connected to each other along the axes of sensitivity of accelerometers.
EFFECT: simplifying the device and increasing its sensitivity.
