FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring parameters of gravitational field of the Earth. Gravity gradient meter comprises cylindrical tight housing (1), inside of which there arranged is mechanoelectrical conversion element in form of two hydrophones (2, 3) installed on housing ends. Inlets and outlets of hydrophones (2, 3) are connected to electronic unit. Inner cavity of housing (1) is filled with liquid (4) acting as inertial mass. In the central part of housing (1) there is pressure compensator (5) equalizing the external and internal pressure.

EFFECT: simplifying the device and increasing its sensitivity.
