FIELD: paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paper products, such as absorbent sheets. Within the framework of the declared solution there presented are soft absorbent sheets, structuring materials for production of soft absorbent sheets and methods for manufacturing of soft absorbent sheets. Soft absorbent sheets have multiple protruding areas and connection areas that connect protruding areas. Projecting regions include folds that are bent relative to machine direction of absorbent sheet, wherein the ends of the curved folds are located on the opposite sides of the protruding regions and with the crested folds vertices located downstream in the machine direction of the absorbent sheet. Absorbent sheets can be formed with the help of structuring material with base lines arranged at an angle line.
EFFECT: technical result is production of softer paper products.
