SYMMETRICAL DIPOLE ANTENNA WITH BALANCING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC H01Q1/00

Abstract RU 2724963 C1

FIELD: radio equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and specifically to antenna engineering and can be used as a transceiving antenna. Vibratory antenna with balancing device consists of two arms made of metal tubes arranged on pipe from dielectric material, between which balancing device is coiled from coaxial cable having center conductor, insulation, external conductor, which is a copper seamless tube length equal to half the length of the radio wave taking into account the coefficient of shortening of the coaxial cable of the balancing device, one end of the inner conductor of the balancing device is connected to one arm of the symmetrical dipole antenna, the other end of the inner conductor of the balancing device is connected to the other arm of the dipole antenna and with internal conductor of supply coaxial feeder passing through inner cavity of pipe and hole in pipe, ends of external conductor of balancing device and end of external conductor of supply coaxial feeder are connected to each other by bridges. Advantages of the proposed symmetrical dipole antenna with a balancing device include: possibility of use in systems with linear polarization of a wave of arbitrary orientation, including inclined, vertical, horizontal; generating a circular pattern of the antenna in a plane orthogonal to the vibrator axis; possibility of protection against adverse mechanical (sand, dust, etc.) and climatic (rain, snow, dew, sea salt, etc.) effects due to compactness of the structure of the balancing device and possibility of its arrangement together with symmetrical split vibrator in sealed casing.

EFFECT: purpose of the invention is to create a dipole antenna for non-horizontal arrangement with a compact balancing device to form a circular pattern of distortion in a plane orthogonal to the vibrator.
