FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction ceramics, particularly, ordinary ceramic bricks. Ceramic mass, including clay and slime, used as clay high-melting clay, slurry is limestone slurry of high-power plant with high content of calcium oxide CaO up to 45 % and slump of power plant at the following ratio of components, wt. %: refractory clay 45–55; limestone mud at state district power station (SDPP) 30–40; slump of SDPP 15–20, slag of Novocherkassk SDPP is used as slag of SDPP with average chemical composition, wt. %: SiO2 – 54.56; Al2O3 – 20.19; CaO – 3.72; Fe2O3 + FeO - 11.92; MgO – 1.64; K2O – 3.35; Na2O – 0.98; SO3 – 0.08; percentage of other impurities – 3.44.
EFFECT: technical result is the development of a ceramic mass which enables to obtain efficient ceramic bricks based on natural clay material and technogenic materials, by forming a highly porous structure and a strong crystalline skeleton of the material during low-temperature annealing.
