FIELD: water supply.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water supply. Water supply system comprises a water supply network of a metropolis, divided into zones, interconnected by waterways, water supply sources of water supply network, zone pump stations with suction pipelines, in parallel installed pumps with pressure pipelines connected to pressure main pipelines of water supply to zones, zonal emergency control tanks connected with at least one power supply network by water and zonal pump stations by means of suction pipelines. System is additionally equipped with a water supply network of at least one metropolitan suburb connected to a water supply network of a metropolis by suburban water ducts and to pressure pipelines of a suburban pump station with parallel pumps. System is also equipped with suburban spare-control tank connected to suction pipelines of at least one suburban pump station, equipped with parallel installed pumps, and suburban power supply network with water, made in form of serially connected by means of suburban pipeline of raw water of suburban water intake and suburban water treatment unit. Besides, the system is equipped with a water supply network of at least one suburban area connected to a water supply network of a metropolis by zone water ducts, regional water ducts connected to water supply network of at least one suburb, with water supply network of at least one suburban area, with at least one zone reserve control tank and water supply network of metropolis. In addition, the system is equipped with a regional emergency control valve connected to suction pipelines of a regional pumping station equipped with parallel pumps, and regional power supply network of water, made in form of serially connected by means of regional raw water pipeline of regional water intake and regional water treatment unit.
EFFECT: reduced operating costs and high reliability of the system.
