SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used in processing of oil sludge of the crude oil treating plant (COTP) for the separation of resistant oil-water emulsions of intermediate layers. Invention relates to a mobile unit for the preparation of intermediate layers of oily liquid, comprising hydraulically connected equipment, including a balancing tank, a decanter, a centrifuge, an intermediate oil tank, finished oil tank, heavy water tank (aqueous phase of petroleum product), sludge tank, heat exchange equipment, demulsifying agent supply preparation unit with pumps, flocculant preparation and supply unit with pumps, a nitrogen station with the possibility of preparing compressed air for the needs of instrumentation and control, a process piping system, an automatic unit control system, located in several containers placed one on the other in two tiers.

EFFECT: reducing the amount of oil sludge in storage barns without exporting it beyond the crude oil treating plant (COTP), increasing the efficiency of using periodically operating equipment for the separation of persistent water-oil emulsions of intermediate layers.
