FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for arrangement of high-current horizontally directed electroconductive channel in air consists in supply of damaging voltage of electric current in ionized channel or channels of streamers of resonant transformer mainly with QCW DRSSTC topology in bypass of active and reactive resistance of secondary winding of resonant transformer with the channel closing the target to the ground or closing the two channels with a target. Device for arrangement of high-current horizontally directed electroconductive channel in air consists of one or two resonant transformers of connected through gas gaps with source of damaging voltage of electric current at that secondary windings of transformers can have bypass diode columns and be phase-locked, and the source of damaging voltage is alternating or pulse voltage generator or capacitance energy accumulator.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of directional wireless electroconductive channel in air.
