FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of damaging high-voltage current pulses of non-lethal contact electric shock weapon and remote electric shock weapon, as well as to general equipment for production of high-voltage high-current pulses. Scope of application: electric shock weapon of contact and remote action for law enforcement services and citizens, experimental equipment. High-voltage pulse generator comprises power supply, converter, voltage multiplier, current capacitor connected to discharge circuit of multiplier through high-voltage diode assembly and gas or air discharger and charged from rectifier fed from converter. Protective-control arrester is installed between output electrode and circuit elements.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining high-current pulses, including long duration, at minimum dimensions and cost and high reproducibility of generator.
