SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of identifying a linear dynamic object. To identify a linear dynamic object, a transfer function of an object of a priori type is given in a linear fractional form, determining the base frequency of the input test signal, depending on the base frequency, determining the test frequencies of input test periodic bipolar rectangular signals, depending on time input test signals of specified amplitudes and test frequencies are generated, separately they are supplied to input of linear dynamic object, when each of the input test signals is exposed to the stationary oscillatory movement of the object, depending on the time, measuring the input test signal and accumulating its readings, depending on time, measuring the output signal and accumulating its readings, determining the real and imaginary components of the first harmonic of the input test signal, determining the real and imaginary components of the first harmonic of the output signal, forming a system of equations depending on the coefficients of the transfer function of the a priori type, the test frequencies of the input test signals, real and imaginary components of first harmonics of input test signals, real and imaginary components of first harmonics of output signals, solve it and determine coefficients of transfer function in a certain way.
EFFECT: reduced duration of identifying a linear dynamic object.
