FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of materials for positive electrodes of lithium-ion accumulator batteries. To obtain solutions used in production of positive electrodes, a sulphuric acid solution containing nickel, cobalt and calcium is used. First step of producing a mixed solution of nickel sulphate and cobalt sulphate and a second step for preparing a nickel sulphate solution are carried out in parallel. At the first step, the sulphuric acid solution is subjected to extraction with a solvent using an extractant to obtain a first organic solvent after extraction, containing calcium, and a first extraction residue containing nickel and cobalt. At the second step, the sulphuric acid solution is subjected to extraction with a solvent using an extractant to obtain a second organic solvent after extraction, containing cobalt and calcium, and a second extraction residue containing nickel.
EFFECT: invention increases purity of solutions of nickel and cobalt sulphates used in obtaining positive electrodes containing nickel and cobalt by removing calcium impurities, which will improve the charging and discharging capacity of lithium-ion batteries.
