SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Method of repeated antivirus scanning of a file, implemented using a mobile device, according to which a local database for files is stored, where each entry is added to the database when the corresponding file is considered not malicious as a result of the antivirus check, and comprises the first hash sum of the file, a second hash sum of the file and information on the performed antivirus checking, which includes at least the date of antivirus checking of the file and the verdict from cloud services; calculating a first hash sum of the file and finding in said base a second hash sum of the file and information on the performed antivirus check corresponding to the first hash sum of the file; using second file hash-sum, verdict for file from cloud services is requested; antivirus scanning of the file is always performed, unless the obtained verdict has not changed and no updates of the anti-virus databases have occurred since the date of antivirus scanning.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of mobile device resources consumption during repeated antivirus checking of files.
