SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a roulette wheel device and, in particular, to a ball launching device for use in a gaming system, such as a roulette wheel device, wherein roulette wheel device comprises ball launching device. Air flow generator for generating air flow through launching tube is controlled by air flow controller, configured to reverse air flow direction and/or change of air flow direction opposite to direction of ball movement, when the determined speed of the ball is higher than the required speed of the ball and/or the speed of the ball is to be reduced.
EFFECT: device for launching a ball and a game system with a ball, comprising such a ball launching device, are disclosed.
