FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely to a device for measuring viscosity of structured thixotropic liquids. Vibration viscometer for thixotropic liquids comprises a measuring vessel-cell, a measuring self-oscillator, power generator and recorder, as well as two probes, one of which is connected to vibrator-disperser, second is connected to vibrator-measuring sensor, inner lateral surface of measuring vessel is made in form of ellipse, at that projections of probes on measuring vessel coincide with foci of ellipse.
EFFECT: technical result is longer service life of device.
