FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device for measuring fluidity of powder relates to determining physical and mechanical characteristics of powder materials, specifically fluidity of powder, and can be used in various industries: food, construction, chemical, machine building, and so forth. Proposed device comprises tray accommodating receiving container, loading funnel with calibrated orifice accommodating cone-shaped valve with rod. Valve is made in the form of two conjugated in circumferential conical surfaces directed in opposite directions. Outer surface of lower cone is made with possibility of gapless contact with inner surface of funnel. Stroke limiter is installed on the valve stem, and a recording sensor connected to the time recording unit is installed between the funnel and the receiving vessel.

EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of measuring fluidity of powdered material by providing constant flow rate of powder through calibrated hole funnel.
