FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment used for evaluation of fluidity of powdered compositions at high flow rates. Device for determination of fluidity of fire-extinguishing powder formulations includes a cylinder with nitrogen - source of driving medium, receiver, pressure line, high pressure reducers, pneumatic valve, control panel, supply tank equipped with a cover with a flange connection, graduated cylinder with built-in shutoff valve, discharge pipe, strain gauges, pneumatic distributor, shutter valve with pneumatic drive, nozzle, dust collector with bypass valve 0.1 MPa, analogue-to-digital converter, personal computer. Outlet pipe can be straight or spiral. Rigid piston can be additionally installed in the graduated cylinder.

EFFECT: technical result is device allows to perform tests at high speeds due to high test pressure (up to 12 MPa), at high consumption per unit time (from 1 kg/s), with low consumption of tested material (up to 1 kg), and high reliability of results is provided by pressure sensors interrogated by analogue-to-digital converter with frequency of up to 1000 Hz, with visualization of results on PC.
