FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of controlling UAV flight and an unmanned aerial system. To control flight, UAV position and motion parameters are measured, control signals are generated by control system on preprogrammed trajectory of automatic trajectory control of flight, control system by control system to control signals of steering drives of aerodynamic control elements and power plant, and in case of control system failure return to landing aerodrome, parameters of which are stored in control system, and signaling is generated for issue to operator to control point. Unmanned aerial system comprises control station and UAV, in which control system, control system and on-board navigation sensors are located.
EFFECT: higher UAV flight safety.
