FIELD: lifting devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is crane lifting capacity limiter with flexible boom suspension. Limiter comprises magneto-anisotropic force sensor, excitation winding of which receives power from alternating voltage source, and measuring winding through amplifier and filter unit is connected to analogue-to-digital converter. Limiter also has a filter with a finite impulse response and a microprocessor controller. Absolute optical encoder is used as a boom inclination angle sensor. Filter input with final pulse characteristic is connected to rectifier output, and output is connected to analogue-to-digital converter. Microprocessor controller incorporates the crane load function and the signal multiplication function of the force transducers and the boom inclination angle. Digital signal from an analogue-to-digital converter is transmitted to one input of the microprocessor controller, and the other input receives a digital signal from the absolute encoder. Outputs of the microprocessor controller change their state in case the obtained product of signals exceeds the value determined by the load characteristic.
EFFECT: higher reliability and accuracy of operation of load limiters.
