SUBSTANCE: versions of present invention disclosure include methods, systems and software products for machine control. In compliance with this invention, methods may include: computing, using the machine performance model, a set of states between machine steps corresponding to a set of input states or a set of output states, during machine operation, wherein the machine comprises a turbine component having a fluid passageway crossing a plurality of turbine stages and a plurality of positions between the stages; calibration of the machine performance model based on the difference between the predicted value in the machine performance model and the set of input or output states and adjustment of the machine operating parameter based on the calibrated operating characteristics model and the calculated set of states between the machine steps.
EFFECT: method and machine control system are proposed.
