FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing polymer materials obtained by polycondensation of dianhydrides of tetracarboxylic acids with diamines. Disclosed is a method of processing polyimide materials containing in their molecular structure five-member imide cycles, characterized by that polyimide material is exposed to vapors or solutions of ammonia derivative R-NH2 (where R = H, NH2, alkyl group).
EFFECT: development of profitable processing technology of polyimide materials, which with minimum expenses would allow to extract valuable products from waste polymers.
