FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: polyimide copolymers are produced by condensation reaction of aromatic polycarboxylic acid dianhydrides with aromatic diamines and triethylammonium salts of aromatic diamines containing acidic groups. The condensation process is carried out in an inert gas atmosphere in a polar organic solvent medium. The method for producing copolymers is that a dry polar organic solvent, aromatic diamine, triethylammonium salt of aromatic diamine, diaminocrown ether and α,ω-polydimethyldisiloxane with a number of dimethylsiloxane units from 3 to 5. The resulting mixture is stirred until a solution is produced, to which benzoic acid is added. Then, for 5-10 minutes, aromatic polycarboxylic acid dianhydride is added portionwise. After this, the resulting reaction mass is heated to 80°C by stirring under an inert gas atmosphere and aged for 3-6 hours. Then the temperature is raised to 180°C, and the reaction mass is maintained for 15-20 hours. The mass is then cooled to 80°C, diluted with a polar organic solvent, poured into acetone, and the precipitated end product is isolated. The product is filtered, washed with ethanol and dried at the temperature of 80°C. The starting components are reacted in the amount corresponding to their molar ratio to aromatic polycarboxylic acid dianhydrides equal to: 0.01-0.97:1 for aromatic diamines, 0.01-0.97:1 for triethylammonium salts of aromatic diamines, 0.01-0.5:1 for polydimethyldisiloxanes, 0.01-0.97:1 for diaminocrown ethers, and 0.6-0.7:1 for benzoic acid.
EFFECT: increasing the stability and proton conductivity.
