FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blades of blade machines and, in particular, to protective element (32) of front edge for blade (16) of bladed machine, which passes along height from lower end (40) to upper end (41), has outer side (50), embracing front edge (18), and inner side (51), made with possibility of attachment to body (30) of blade, and comprises trough plate (34), back plate (36) and central portion (38) connecting trough plate (34) with back plate (36). This central section (38) has thickness (e1) greater than plate (34) of trough and back plate (36), between outer side (50) and inner side (51). Thickness (e1) of central section (38) is increasing with stable or increasing gradient on first segment (S1), starting from lower end of protective element (32) of leading edge, but has a decreasing gradient outside said first segment (S1).
EFFECT: providing blade protection at smaller weight and inertia.
