FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal preservation and can be used for protection of materials of machine building, instrument making and so forth from corrosion and microorganisms damage to microscopic fungi and bacteria. Method involves lubrication of all parts and mechanisms of article with lubricant and wrapping part of article located outside, wax paper in two layers, wherein article parts and mechanisms are greased with conservation lubricant containing working-conservative RG gun oil with addition of citral and eugenol essential oils at the following component ratio, wt. %: working-preservation gun oil RG - 95.0; mixture of essential oils of citral and eugenol - 5.0, with volume ratio of oils of 1:1, and the assembled article from the outside is wrapped with two layers of packing material based on paraffin paper BP-3-35, modified with ethyl alcohol with a mixture of essential oils of citral and eugenol, with the following ratio of components, wt. %: ethyl alcohol - 95.0; mixture of essential oils of citral and eugenol - 5.0, with volume ratio of oils of 1:1.
EFFECT: reduced time for preservation and de-preservation of articles, as well as protection of materials of machine building, instrument making, and so forth from corrosion and damage by microorganisms.
