FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal preservation and can be used for protection of materials of machine building, instrument making and so forth from corrosion and damage by microorganisms (microscopic fungi and bacteria). Described is a lubricant-based preservation lubricant comprising industrial oil I-20A - 36.5 ± 3.0 wt. %, corrosion inhibitor AKOR-1 5.0 ± 0.5 % of weight, viscosity additive Vinipol VB-2 - 3.5 ± 1.0 wt. %, jet fuel - aircraft fuel TS-1 - up to 100 % of weight, characterized by that in order to increase stability, a mixture of essential oils of citral and eugenol is added in volume ratio of 1:1, with the following ratio of components, wt. %: a mixture of essential oils of citral and eugenol in volume ratio of 1:1 - 5.0; lubricant including industrial oil, jet fuel, viscosity additive and corrosion inhibitor - 95.0.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of a preservative lubricant, which provides complex protection of metal from corrosion and damage by microorganisms, which is stored.
