FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a device which is intended for fixing one or more multilayer glass panels in a horizontal plane to create cantilever aprons and sheds of multilayer glass. Device for fixing glass panels consists of profile of U-shaped section, having lower flange, upper flange, base and support. Distinctive feature of the claimed panel fastening device is that the profile of the U-shaped section is monolithic with a support, has a hole in the base, is equipped with a plastic insert and a splat.

EFFECT: simplifying the process of mounting the shield and, as a result, accelerating said process, wherein the proposed panel fastener has a simple design with a minimum number of parts which do not require adjustment, improved weight characteristics and longer service life.
